The Youth Development Workshop, co-organized by APSCC and ISU (International Space University) and supported by UNISEC (University Space Engineering Consortium), will be held on October 12 concurrently with the APSCC 2017 conference.
The Workshop aims to work jointly with key Asia-Pacific universities, educational institutions, and APSCC members to increase interest among undergraduate, recently graduated, and young professionals for careers in the satellite industry. The one-day workshop consists of three presentation lectures given by industry experts and a hands-on workshop.

Who is the Workshop for?
The Youth Development Workshop is designed to meet the needs of:
- Graduates of engineering studies
- Undergraduates in their engineering studies
- Applicants who are interested in the commercial satellite business
- Applicants with motivation to forge a career in space and satellite industry
- Note: Although there is no prerequisite of major for students who are applying, undergraduates in their final two years of engineering studies will have priority in case there are more applicants than the available seats.
What is the Workshop fee?
The workshop including all tuition and meals are provided at no cost. (Applicants should bear all transportation and/or accommodation costs.)
How can I apply?
To participate in the Workshop, you must submit your application using either
our ONLINE WORKSHOP APPLICATION FORM or WORKSHOP APPLICATION FORM by September 29 and be accepted to participate.
All applications must be received after completion of all the required information. APSCC will send an e-mail confirmation to the applicants. A printed copy of the official CONFIRMATION along with your identification card should be shown at the registration counter to collect your badge.

UNISEC-Global is an international nonprofit body, consisting of local-chapters across the world. Since its establishment in November 2013 in Japan, it has provided an annual forum to promote practical space development activities. Its primary objective is to help create a world where space science and technology is used by individuals and institutions in every country, rich or poor for peaceful purposes and for the benefit of humankind.
